American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic across a weekend day shift schedule.

Details

• Critical care hospital setting with floating across multiple ICU units based on staffing and patient acuity
• Units include Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU
• Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Schedule: Weekend days, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 hours/week)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management are performed in this role

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic required
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates will provide critical care nursing across a variety of ICU environments, adapting to unit needs and patient acuity
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio may need to drive to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet upon receipt
• Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
• Any requested time off must be submitted prior to consideration and built into the contract, with a maximum of 7 days
