American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in a hospital-based Endoscopy and Pulmonary suite, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and at least one year of nursing experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Endoscopy and Pulmonary suite serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Anesthesia coverage provided for sedation procedures
• On-call is required
• No weekend requirements
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
• ProVation EMR system is used in this unit

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license accepted
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification required
• CPI-B certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Familiarity with ProVation EMR required

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and discharge planning
• Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by the patient care plan
• Addresses cultural and ethnic considerations in patient care planning
