American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a post-interventional telemetry unit, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

• 23-bed post-interventional telemetry unit (6B) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post-catheterization, femoral sheath, and Tikosyn administration cases, as well as complex GI Oncology surgical post-op patients, inpatients requiring chemotherapy, and general medical/post-procedural patients
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures
• Date of birth (MM/DD) and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Staff receive specialized training for post-catheterization care, femoral sheath management, and Tikosyn administration
• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care coordination, patient and family education, and facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI reduction
• BSN is preferred but not required
