American Traveler is hiring an RN - Infusion for an outpatient hematology/oncology clinic requiring chemo/bio certification and prior oncology infusion experience.

Details

• Outpatient Hematology and Oncology infusion clinic located within a Cancer Center
• Unit has 60 infusion chairs with an average census of 125 patients per day
• Adult patient population including all types of cancer diagnoses
• Patient ratios vary by pod assignment but never exceed 1:4
• Uses Epic/Encompass EMR
• No floating required
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
• No weekend rotation and no on-call requirements
• Facility closed on holidays

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemo/Bio certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in oncology/infusion setting required
• Skilled in administration of anti-neoplastic agents, port access, and IV starts
• Knowledge of chemo/immunotherapy side effects and management required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
