American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Hickory, NC, requiring at least 2 years of labor experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification on night shifts.

Details

• LDRP unit within a 355-bed acute care hospital that includes a Women's Center and Level 3 NICU
• Unit has 8 beds and also accepts GYN patients
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN Standards
• Cerner EHR in use
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekends required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Floating possible as helping hands to other areas

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
• Current AHA certifications required (BLS at minimum)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• LDRP experience preferred
• Navy scrubs required for C-sections; hospital provides scrubs for those procedures — no designated scrub color otherwise
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
