American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week acute care contract at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in a rural setting, with experience in hospital and long-term care required.

Details

• Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in a rural environment
• Primary work in hospital and long-term care settings, with minimal outpatient (OP) and home health (HH) exposure
• Position covers two facility locations: one in Canby, SD and one in Clear Lake, SD
• Day shift with 12-hour shifts
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active COTA license in both South Dakota (SD) and Minnesota (MN) required
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Active certifications required at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted
• 2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Complimentary housing provided by the facility through Sanford's housing program
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
• All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub/dress code: Polo shirt (ceil blue, khaki, gray, or chocolate brown) or business casual attire
• Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility may be subject to adjusted pay rates
