American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a 13-week assignment at a short-term acute care / Level III Trauma Center.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• OT Acute Care unit with floating required between units and facilities within the state
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required approximately once every 4 weeks
• Expected caseload of 8–9 patients per day
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• No parking fee at this facility

Requirements

• Active Washington State OT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Acute care experience is a hard-stop requirement
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current OT licensure — license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Inpatient rehab experience is a plus and highly encouraged
• Candidate must be self-driven, a hard worker, and able to collaborate effectively with team members
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Scrub color is open — any color is accepted
• Minimal RTO is expected; time off requests should be addressed prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
