American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment at a hospital in Jerome, ID, requiring at least 1 year of acute inpatient or rehab experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient rehab therapy setting covering Acute Inpatient and Swing Bed areas
• Caseload of 8–10 patients per day with 1 therapist on per day
• Common diagnoses include ortho/total joints, neurological (strokes), occasional brain injuries, medical, and general ICU patients
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (0830–1700)
• May be required to float to a nearby sister facility when census is low
• No self-scheduling; no blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests accepted
• Holiday coverage may be required
• Epic EMR used in this position

Requirements

• Active OT license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Scrubs are permitted; color must not match other departments — approved color list provided upon hire
