American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital in Washington, DC, requiring a DC RN license and on-call availability.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a 228-bed Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital
• Covers 9 OR rooms
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• No floating to other units required
• On-call is required: 2 night calls and 3 weekend calls per month; weeknight call hours are 11 PM–7 AM; weekend call shifts are 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, or 11 PM–7 AM
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting system: SIS

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Prior OR nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Parking is the traveler's responsibility; options include metered street parking ($2.00/hour), or pre-paid hospital parking available at $3.50/day, $17.25/week, or $69/month through the Cashier's Office
