American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.

Details

• 13-week contract at a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Floating between all facilities within California is required and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate; AWHONN Advanced preferred
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
• Ability to circulate required
• Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Travel pairs will not be considered
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
• All RTO must be disclosed at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a local rate
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; L&D scrubs are provided
