American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Telemetry unit position in Chicago, IL requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active IL RN license for a night shift, 8-week contract.

Details

• 37-bed cardiac telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift hours: 19:30–07:00
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, with rare instances of 1:7
• 8-week contract assignment
• Floating required to medical/surgical, telemetry, and orthopedic units

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• De-escalation/Behavioral Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification required (can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC's free online resource)
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
