American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound Care position requiring a CA RN license, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

• Position is based in a hospital Wound Care unit
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Wound care certification preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Additional Information

• Conducts wound care patient assessments and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Communicates plan of care during shift transitions and across departments to ensure continuity
• Accurately documents all treatment information and patient responses in the EHR
• Provides patient and family education throughout admission and transitions of care
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
