American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR Tech position at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring at least 2 years of CVOR experience and active RN licensure prior to start.

Details

• Large, short-term acute care hospital with 1,500+ staffed beds in an academic medical center setting
• CVOR unit with an average patient ratio of 1:2
• Schedule options include 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), or a combination of 2x12-hour and 2x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 10:45 AM–7:15 PM), totaling 36–40 hours per week
• On-call is required: 2 calls per M–F week (either 7:00 PM–11:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), with 1 day per week available to stay late
• Weekend call requirement: two 24-hour on-call shifts per schedule
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Parking is available at an additional cost to the traveler

Requirements

• Active CT or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted provided it is active prior to start date
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Prior experience in a large Trauma Center setting is required
• Active RN license with a clean disciplinary record required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

• RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require additional facility approval

• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
