American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a high-volume Birthing Pavilion, requiring recent L&D experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work takes place in a Birthing Pavilion with 21 L&D rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms
• High-volume unit performing approximately 1,300 deliveries per year
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines with a 1:1 ratio for active labors, Pitocin, and intermittent monitoring patients
• 1:2 ratio for cervical ripening and high-risk medication patients (including Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drips)
• 1:3 ratio for Antepartum and Postpartum couplets
• Positions available on day shift, night shift, and rotating shifts

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Recent L&D experience at a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma facility within the last 2 years
• Two professional references from managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not eligible — candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• License must remain active for the full duration of the assignment
