American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long Term Care position in Miles City, MT, requiring 1 year of LTC experience, an active MT or compact RN license, and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Long Term Care (LTC) unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license, with no pending licenses accepted
• AHA BLS certification required and must not expire prior to assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of LTC nursing experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or higher)
• Ability to lift objects over 100 lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include holistic admission assessments, individualized care planning, medication and IV administration, and coordination of discharge planning
• Supervises and delegates to CNA staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Maintains working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
