American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of travel, with critical care and telemetry background, working night shifts in a 24-bed unit.

Details

• IMC/PCU unit within a hospital setting with 24 staffed beds and an average daily census of 24
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Critical care and telemetry patient population
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses will not be accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry certification, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current critical care and telemetry experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID, along with a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months, required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered — at least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be outside the 75-mile radius
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout dates may be requested
• No holiday RTO requests will be accepted
