Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with proficient DaVinci robotics and Epic EMR experience for a travel assignment in Iowa requiring an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a hospital OR setting with 14 beds and a 1:1 patient ratio
• Robotic equipment includes DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa systems
• Cases include robotics, orthopedic total joints, and general surgery
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Active Iowa (IA) or compact/multistate RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 24 months of recent OR/Operating Room experience required
• Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics required
• Proficient experience in general surgery required
• Proficient experience in orthopedic surgery including total joints required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Travel nursing experience within the previous 15 months required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week (11/26–11/30) and the winter holiday period (12/23–1/2)
• Candidates who have worked at this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
