American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in a high-acuity post-operative care unit, requiring Epic EMR experience and night shift availability.

Details

• 28-bed high-acuity medical-surgical acute care unit specializing in post-operative care
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required per facility float policy
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care is provided collaboratively by RNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 12-month gap before returning as a traveler
