Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU Night position in New Mexico, open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of ICU experience and a valid NM or compact RN license.

Details

• ICU setting within an acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 18:30–07:00 (4x12-hour shifts)
• Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends required
• Floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand or pending NM license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• No travel pairs or groups accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
