American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Performs Cardiac Cath, EP Implant and Ablation, and general Cardiology procedures and testing
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (0700–1530)
• On-call required for off-hours, holidays, and weekend rotation with a 30-minute callback requirement
• Epic EMR experience required
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or Connecticut state license) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license are not eligible for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they meet the required experience
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved during the contract
• 13-week contract
