Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient experience and AHA BLS certification, with night shift scheduling and biweekly orientations.

Details

• Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) inpatient unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Patient ratio of 1:12
• Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required
• Floating is required
• EMR: Cerner eCare; medication documentation via Omnicell
• 13-week contract with biweekly orientation cycles

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or Compact state license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required; NIHSS required
• CPI, CBHS, or MAB certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Acute inpatient experience required

• RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
