Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience with a focus on orthopedic and spine surgery, including both circulating and scrub roles.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Specializes in orthopedic procedures including knee and hip replacement, as well as spine, hand, and foot surgery
• Requires both circulating and scrub experience
• Uses Epic EMR
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• On-call expectations to be discussed with the manager
• Floating required within a network of 5 hospitals based on unit needs and within the nurse's skillset

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience with major emphasis on orthopedic (knee and hip replacement) and spine, hand, and foot surgery
• Proficiency in both circulating and scrub roles required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Two current professional references required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
