American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring acute care and discharge planning experience with Epic proficiency.

Details

• Works within a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 571 staffed beds across two campuses
• Case Management unit with a focus on discharge planning and care coordination
• Strong preference for candidates with diverse CM experience across Med/Surg, LLOS, and ED settings
• Day shift schedule: 4x8 hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating is required across all areas of the hospital, including between two campuses located less than 2 miles apart
• Charting is done in Epic (experience required)
• Parking is facility paid

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
