Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a travel contract at an island community hospital off the coast of Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and AHA certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Serves a year-round island community of 15,000+ residents with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors annually
• 36 hours per week on rotating shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
• Required certifications (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted): BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• All certifications must be in hand by start date
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the contract
• Flu vaccine is required — no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate
