American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification requirements and a valid KY or compact RN license.

Details

• MS/Tele unit in a regional medical center, caring for medical-surgical, telemetry, and observation patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7 (may fluctuate with census)
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope of practice required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides care to short-stay MS/Tele and observation patients
• Orientation is held on a bi-weekly schedule
• 13-week assignment with a 36/48-hour work schedule over a two-week pay period
