American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Urology Outpatient Clinic position in Oregon, requiring strong catheterization skills and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient urology clinic setting
• Patient population includes diagnoses such as prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, and penile cancers, as well as BPH, erectile dysfunction, renal calculus, voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, urinary retention, male UTI, incontinence, circumcision, and undescended testicles
• Frequent daily catheterization of both male and female patients, including suprapubic catheter changes
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license in hand or pending at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Strong urological nursing skills, particularly catheterization (male, female, and suprapubic)
• Epic EMR experience required
• ONC certification preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO requests should be minimal; any needed time off must be communicated upfront during the consideration process
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
