American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stress Testing position, requiring hands-on specialty experience and proficiency with moderate sedation and advanced cardiac procedures.

Details

• Cardiac Stress Testing unit in a hospital setting
• Procedures include Moderate Sedation, Transesophageal Echo (TEE), Cardioversion, Dobutamine Stress Testing, and Tilt Table Testing
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required
• Weekend assignments required
• Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in cardiac stress testing or a closely related specialty
• Proficiency with moderate sedation and advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Any requested RTO must be submitted at the time of application

• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for travel rates
• Position operates within a 24/7 healthcare environment; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
• Role involves regular contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
