Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2+ years of telemetry/PCU/stepdown experience and an active WV or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient PCU/stepdown unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, subject to fluctuation based on census and staffing
• Meditech EMR
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), working 36 or 48 hours per two-week pay period
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry, PCU, or stepdown experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
• Blocked scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
