Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week travel contract on an Adult Crisis Unit at a psychiatric hospital, with rotating day/evening shifts and every-other-weekend requirements.

Details

• Work setting is a 337-bed psychiatric hospital on the Adult Crisis Unit
• Day and evening shifts available (7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week on a 5x8-hour shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including across all age populations
• No on-call requirements
• Charting is done in Sunrise EMR
• Free employee parking available on campus

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start

Additional Information

• RNs may be required to serve as charge nurse during a shift
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
