Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring TNCC or TCAR certification and a willingness to float to MS/Tele and ER.

Details

• Critical Care ICU setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• 13-week contract
• Float requirement includes Med/Surg Telemetry and Emergency Room (for critical care holds)

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH Stroke Scale, 6 hours total of stroke education (can be provided if needed), and EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)
• Critical care ICU nursing experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could cause a positive result
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
