Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a minimum of 2 years of home health experience, active MI RN licensure, and proficiency with OASIS and Epic.

Details

• Home health setting with patient care delivered in patient homes
• 40 hours per week on a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• 13-week contract
• Mileage from the home site to patient homes is tracked and reimbursable
• Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister facility
• Epic EMR is required for this position

Requirements

• Active MI RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of home health nursing experience required
• OASIS experience required
• IV experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must possess a valid State of Michigan driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a telephone
• Ability to lift, carry, transport, and move clients as needed
• Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program (NLN-accredited)
• COVID vaccination is required to work at this facility

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care in the home under general supervision of a nursing supervisor
• Assesses patients for the need of allied health services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, speech pathology, and social work to support an integrated home health care delivery system
• Online orientation modules must be completed onsite with a passing score, typically one week prior to start
• Acute care experience is preferred but not required
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to acceptance of the assignment; requests made after the assignment begins will require manager approval
• Two professional references will be required for consideration
