American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level II Trauma facility, requiring a minimum of 2 years of diagnostic RN experience and procedural care skills.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Radiology/Diagnostics department at a Level II Trauma facility
• Pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for a wide range of radiology procedures
• Ability to float to any radiology modality, including MRI, Mammography, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and General Radiology
• Radiologist is on-site during procedures
• IV insertion is required
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Possible rotational weekend call (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) for approximately 1–2 weekends during the 13-week contract
• Holiday coverage may be required during the contract
• EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required by start date
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic RN experience required
• Procedural nursing experience required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Department-specific orientation is provided (8 hours)
• Two professional references are required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years of relevant specialty experience
• Former permanent employees of this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their application date, and hospital approval is required
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a modified pay rate
• Scrubs are not provided; candidates should be prepared to supply their own
