Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of L&D or PACU experience and a Montana or Compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum couplets, and triage cases
• Performs circulating, PACU, triage, and transition nurse duties
• Floating to the Mother/Baby unit to care for couplets is required
• Variable shift schedule
• 6-week contract

Requirements

• Active Montana (MT) or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: NRP, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN or PACU experience required
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing and implementing individualized care plans, health teaching, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Must be prepared to function in multiple roles including triage, circulating, PACU, and transition nurse
• Provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care across the L&D continuum
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position
