Description

American Traveler is seeking an ED RN for a rapid response, short-term night shift contract requiring active ME or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting in a community hospital
• 12-hour night shifts with varying schedules

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Maine or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within six months of hire
• Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations

Additional Information

• Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in accordance with Maine State Standards
• Must communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
