American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric OR RN for a travel assignment at a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Oregon, requiring Epic experience and circulatory skills.

Details

• Pediatric OR unit within an academic, ACS Verified Pediatric and Children's Level 1 Trauma and Surgery Center
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, and pediatric patients across all surgical services
• High-acuity cases at the cutting edge of pediatric medicine as the state's only academic center
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), with variable scheduling including weekends
• Call required: overnight call hours are 19:00–07:00, with approximately 4–6 call shifts every 4 weeks depending on unit needs
• Epic EMR used; prior experience required
• Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• 13-week contract with the possibility of extension beyond 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN license and active OR RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Circulator experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Two manager or supervisor references from the past 24 months required (Charge RN references are not acceptable)
• COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Perform circulating duties across a full range of pediatric surgical procedures, including high-acuity and trauma cases
• First-time traveler eligibility should be confirmed prior to applying, as requirements are noted in the position details
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction applies
• Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this health system must provide a reference from their OHSU supervising manager
• Previous travelers at this health system must have been away for at least 6 months before returning on a new travel assignment
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and may not exceed 2 weeks total
