American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position specializing in Head, Neck, and Plastics, requiring PCU/telemetry experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of an academic teaching hospital, specializing in Head, Neck, and Plastics patients
• Telemetry monitoring required for this patient population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• Floating to other units is required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license, currently in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU and telemetry nursing experience required
• Academic teaching hospital experience preferred
• Clean licensure history required — any licensure hits will result in disqualification
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
