Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Tech for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring NBSTSA or NCCT certification and at least 1.5 years of CVOR experience.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR setting focusing exclusively on adult open heart surgery
• Cases include CABG, valve repairs/replacements (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic), and transplants
• Charting performed in Epic
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• On-call requirement of 24 hours per month
• May float to the Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled during the shift

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of CVOR surgical tech experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
