American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift position in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active NM or Compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a regional medical center setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM state RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Must be able to perform prolonged standing and walking, heavy patient positioning and transfers, and repetitive physical movements including reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Visual and hearing acuity within normal or correctable limits, including color distinction and peripheral vision
• Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served, ensuring quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards
• Works under the direction of a Patient Care Director or Manager
• Work environment involves exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
