American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in an 8-bed short stay observation unit, requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and dysrhythmia management skills.

Details

• 8-bed short stay observation unit (Zayed 2 Bridge Unit) within an Endoscopy prep and recovery area
• Patient populations include Neuro, Surgery, Cardiology, and Medicine
• Med/Surg Telemetry level of care
• Day shift, 12 hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed/every other basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to areas of like skill set and Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience
• Dysrhythmia management skills required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide short stay observation care to a diverse patient population spanning Neuro, Surgery, Cardiology, and Medicine
• Prior travel assignment experience (1–2 assignments) preferred
• Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
