American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, STEMI call availability, and housing within 30 minutes of the facility.

Details

• Hospital-based Cath Lab unit
• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm
• Weekly schedule alternates between 36 and 48 hours
• 1–2 on-call shifts per week required
• 1–2 weekend call shifts per month required
• Scrubs and lead apron provided for cases

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact license valid in Kentucky
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (physical card front and back if not electronic)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• IR (Interventional Radiology) experience is a plus
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside within 100 miles of the facility
• Must be able to reside within 30 minutes of the facility for STEMI call response
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Flu vaccine or an approved facility exemption required

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology cases
• On-call responsibilities include STEMI (heart attack) response, requiring housing within 30 minutes of the facility
• Orientation is held on a bi-weekly schedule
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted
