American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele (Neuro Tele) position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds and Level II Trauma Center designation
• MS/Tele unit with a neuro telemetry focus
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Floating between units and across facilities within the state is required
• No on-call required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with neuro telemetry background
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers and nurses with 1 year of experience are welcome to apply
• Solid navy blue scrubs required for licensed nursing personnel; print tops are not acceptable
• Free parking is available in designated employee/visitor surface parking lots
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility if previously employed there as permanent staff
• RTO requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• All requested time off must be declared upfront, as post-submission or post-offer schedule change requests may be denied and could result in contract termination
