Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN fetal monitoring certification and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Acute care Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts (8-hour shifts as needed)
• Unit consists of 4 L&D beds and 5 postpartum beds
• Target caseload of approximately 35–40 patients per month
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating is limited to a sitter or helper role only — travelers are never given an independent float assignment; available float units include Med-Surg, ICU, and ED

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
• STABLE certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience

Additional Information

• Neonatal monitoring is a core component of this role
• No orientation hours are provided for this assignment
• Cancellation policy allows up to 1 shift every 4 weeks
