Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit position requiring Epic proficiency and experience with post-acute stroke and acute rehab patient populations.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in a hospital setting
• Small 17-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Patient population is primarily post-acute stroke (75%), with additional cardiac, weakness/deconditioning, and general acute rehab patients
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating within skillset required when census is low
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland (MD) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Med-surg nursing background required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Comparable facility size experience is preferred (e.g., candidates applying to large academic medical centers should have experience in similarly sized facilities)
