American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN for a community-based position requiring HCHB/Wellsky charting experience and the ability to perform admissions independently from day one.

Details

• Home health setting serving patients primarily in their personal residences
• Caseload of 4–6 patients per day, averaging 25–30 visits per week
• Cases include general home health, wound care, and medication administration
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Weekend requirements vary; on-call rotation participation is required
• Must be willing to travel up to 60 miles outside of home base
• Charting performed in Kinnser (also known as Wellsky)
• A tablet will be assigned for same-day patient visits
• Admissions are required as part of the role

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license, valid and in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience as an RN
• OASIS documentation experience required
• Proficiency with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred
• Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations
• Ability to travel up to 60 miles from home base

Additional Information

• Conduct patient admissions, home visits, wound care, and medication administration independently
• Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding ramp-up time
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate, excluding travel to the first patient and return home
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible to apply

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
