American Traveler is hiring a Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) for a 13-week school-based assignment in Colorado, supporting an affective needs elementary program with a small caseload.

Details

• School-based setting serving an affective needs (AN) elementary student population
• Caseload of under 10 students; the AN program currently serves 18 students total across 2 teachers
• Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with professional development on the 2nd Monday of each month from 7:30–11:30 AM
• Day shift, 4x8-hour schedule

Requirements

• Active Colorado Special Education (SPED) license required in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Resume required for consideration

Additional Information

• Position supports students with affective/emotional needs at the elementary level
• Two AN teachers share responsibility for the overall program student population
