American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care / Float Pool position requiring Epic experience, pressor titration skills, and a MA RN license.

Details

• 8-week assignment with weekly Monday start dates
• Nursing Float Pool position covering ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
• Progressive care patient population with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–5
• Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during shift
• 12-hour night shifts required
• Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for night shift)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to titrate pressors

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pressor titration experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel experience
• Must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility for a minimum of 6 months (includes permanent, per diem, and contract roles)
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions accepted)

Additional Information

• Day one pass/fail testing will be administered; Relias practice tests will be available to prepare
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers will be considered provided they have Level 1 trauma experience
