Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a travel assignment requiring Cerner EMR proficiency, on-call availability, and a valid IN or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) in a hospital setting
• Floating to the main OR is required and can be expected approximately 50% of the time
• May also float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00–17:30
• On-call required every 3rd weekend
• 2 weekday call shifts per week, beginning at the end of the scheduled shift and continuing until 07:00 the following morning
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Cerner charting experience required

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; both AHA and RQI formats accepted
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of CVOR RN experience required
• Nursing degree from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation

• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Indiana-based Periop/OR RN travelers are exempt from the facility's general restriction on IN RN travelers
