American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab position at a Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL, requiring EP CVT experience and a valid FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the EP Lab / Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a Level II Trauma Center hospital
• Unit consists of 2 EP Labs staffed with RNs and CVT techs
• Typical procedures include A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostics, ablations, device insertions, and TEE/cardioversion
• Equipment used includes GE X-ray system and Claris hemodynamic system
• EMR systems used are Mac Lab and Meditech
• Day shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend work required
• Holiday rotation required alongside hospital employees
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent EP Cath Lab RN experience required
• EP CVT experience required, including ability to both monitor and scrub EP cases
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Cath Lab experience is preferred but not required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• RN scrub color is Navy Blue
• The facility features a robust EP program with a collaborative team and experienced physicians
