American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and availability for all shifts including variable 12-hour rotations.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• May float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as needed
• Variable shifts required — must be available for all shifts (AM: 7:00–19:00 or PM: 19:00–7:00), with 8-hour D, E, or N shifts also possible
• 12-hour shifts available (72 hours per week)
• Schedule is based on an 80-hour, two-week pay period
• 10-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of two days: Day 1 covers HR onboarding (fingerprinting, ID badge, policy review), safety orientation, risk and quality management, and IT setup; Day 2 is dedicated to EMR training
• Day 1 orientation begins at 10:00 AM with HR
• Position starts on a Monday at 7:00 AM — no exceptions
• COVID-19 vaccination not required for this position
