American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position at a hospital in Round Rock, TX, requiring at least 1 year of case management experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in the Case Management department of a 209-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• 13-week contract
• RN case manager-to-patient ratio of 1:25
• Team includes 7 RN Case Managers, 5 Social Workers, and 1 Case Management Assistant on day shift
• EMR systems include Midas, Meditech, Interqual, and CarePort
• Equipment used includes Workstations on Wheels (WOWs)
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN case management experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include care coordination and discharge planning
• HCA case management experience is preferred
• Experience with Midas, Interqual, and Meditech is preferred
• Navy scrubs are required for RN Case Managers
• Permanent positions may be available on this unit
